What is a custom gait scan?

A custom gait scan is a scan of your feet in both a dynamic   position (walking) and a static position (standing still).

Why should I have a gait scan?

Everyone can benefit from a gait scan. Often times a dysfunction or misalignment of the feet is a direct result of a misalignment of the spine or hips.  Gait scans allow the doctor a better view of any misalignments. 

What can I do to correct misalignments?      

Based on the results of your scan, the doctor may recommend custom molded foot orthotics. Foot orthoctics are made based on your gait scan. The custom molded orthotics will help to correct misalignments of the feet and spine.
